Survey Field Technician
Foresight Design Services is looking to fill a Survey Field Technician position. One year field survey experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who sincerely wants to learn the profession. This position will involve working closely with experienced field personnel in a variety of outdoor environments. Tasks include assisting with survey projects of all types, including property surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout work as well as a variety of other projects, for both public and private sector clients. Occasional out of town work required but majority of work is in New River Valley and nearby areas. Candidate should also be willing and available to work overtime as needed. Prospective candidates should be interested in learning to use sophisticated surveying equipment including GPS gear, robotic instruments, field computers and associated software. We seek a new team member who welcomes the opportunity to grow professionally and work closely with a mutually supportive team.
